Well, as you already know my name is Helen, I am 32 years of age, married with no children. I live in Middlesbrough (North
east of England). We have 2 lovely dogs, Toby and Cassie.
I am trying to build a website that will be useful worldwide and not just what applies to us in the great NHS system of
the UK.
I grew in a town called Mexborough where the house which I was brought up in until I was 14 years old was haunted, I used
to call him grandad until I later learned that I never actually knew the guy. Then when I turned 14 we moved to a seaside
town called Bridlington where I did my last 2 years of school. My favourite subject was actually maths but never admitted
it because I found the lessons boring so used to mess around and get thrown out. The second subject I liked best was Commerce
but I used to always turn up late to that one because they always seemed way ahead to where I was and didn't understand the
lessons. Even when I did turn up on time and we were given a task, my friends next to me always asked me what answer I had
come up with and how I knew but I was always the one that got caught talking and into trouble.
I later found out that when I was younger they wanted to send me to some kind of special school but I caught up so they
didn't need to, but now I know why I always seemed slower than the other kids. When I was taught to read, I was taught to
read and not how to scan pages to pick out the main parts of text. The other kids used to be able to scan text where as I
couldn't and I seemed to get punished for that as well as the fact that I just wouldn't ask for help.
I left school wanting to go to college, but needed a good reference so stayed on a extra year, which I enjoyed, but wish
I had asked to repeat my final year and re-take my GCSE's. I missed half of the first year of GCSE's, and never really caught
up on them in that year as it was a new school as well.
Anyway on goes witrh the story, went to college and got a Diploma in Business and Finance.
Moved in with my boyfriend, moved to Scarborough, which was about 18 miles from Bridlington, went to college there for
a further 2 years and left with a Distinction (highest grade possible) in a Advanced Diploma in Business and Finance.
Married my boyfriend (Graham) in 1993 in Scarborough.
I then moved to Middlesbrough which is about 50 miles away from Scarborough and started University.
I plodded along ok at university, then did my 3rd year which was where you had to find a job and take a year out but still
they get feedback from your employer's. Only problem been is that I never went back to university to finish my Dissertation
and do my final year to be able to graduate, whcih is now much to my regret.

My favourite hobby is cycling.
Here

Picture to be updated, but this was taken when we were
on a cycling trip at Stockton Barrage. I will try and get another one done the next time I manage to get out on my bike.

Multiple Sclerosis struck
That was my favourite best ever job of all time but it was only ever for a year. Then moved onto PCWorld, where I worked when
they first opened the store on Teesside Park, Middlesbrough. I could have gone far there but someone was out to make problems
for me or split my marriage up, so I had to leave. But it was a job where I could have done well for myself and climbed the
ladder successfully.
So here I go again ended up working for a Bookmakers head office, where Multiple Sclerosis struck. Only problem been no-one
believed I was sick because they couldn't see what was wrong with me so obviously I was puttling it all on and trying to
get out of doing my job. Which I have never done, but I couldn't afford to take the time away from work, so I had to leave.
The following month was taken into hospital, given a MRI, Lumbar Puncture and a brain scan thing to test the reflexes in your
brain.
